Incase you didn’t know, The Dollar Tree has picture frames. Tons of picture frames. I found these two really pretty navy and gold frames, and thought they would make perfect Dollar Tree Framed Clipboards!
These clipboards are probably the easiest craft I’ve made yet. I purchased these two sheets of contact paper from… you guessed it! The Dollar Tree. The beautiful patterns went perfectly with these frames. Any pretty card stock you have would work just as well.
And those gorgeous clips! I purchased these gold clips here on Amazon. Dollar Tree does carry binder clips that can be used, but they are silver. I wanted gold and I wanted the clips to be a statement piece.
SUPPLIES
- Picture frames (5×7 and up work best)
- Contact paper, scrapbook paper or card stock
- hinge clips
DIRECTIONS
You will be amazed at just how easy this craft is…
Open up the frames and clean the glass. Use the glass or the paper insert as a stencil for the paper you will be using. Cut to size and insert. Put the frame back together with the paper behind the glass.
Attach the clip you will be using. I attached my clip with E6000 and hot glue. The hot glue will hold in place and the E6000 with hold forever lol.
These pretty clip frames can be used in so many ways. We placed them in the entryway and clipped photos of my girls on them. You can clip love notes, to dos or reminders.
