Let's do what we love, and a lot of it!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. This year has really flow by!

We are having dinner at a family members home this year and we all bring a dish. My plan is to bring the sweet potatoes with marshmallows of course and these guys. I guarantee the adults will be grabbing these just as quickly as the kids will.

Whatever you’re doing this holiday season, these will be a hit!

Supples needed:

  • Candy (M&Ms or Reeses Pieces work great
  • Tulle
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Googly Eyes

Instructions:

1. Grab your tulle and cut a nice sized square. You’re going to use this as a pouch for the candy. Place it over your hand and pour in the candy until you’re satisfied with the size of your Turkeys body. Then tie it off. I used twine because it was on my desk, but anything works.

2. Cut up the pipe cleaners. I used brown for the head, orange sparkle for the legs and beak and red for the waddle. I took pictures of the process of bending them together to to create the face. Hope this helps!

3. I used an extra piece of yellow to twist the red around. After twisted, remove the yellow and toss it. Leaving you with a curly red waddle it bend to the beak. Bend the small brown piece to the face to attach the googly eyes too. And we have a turkey face!

4. Grab the orange and make some turkey legs and feet.

5. Just stick the legs and the neck into the mesh bag of candy. Trim any unruly feathers (tulle). And… BAM! We have a turkey treat!

I hope these sweet treats and fun and simple to make for you! I’d love to see your turkey treats!

Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!
