How to make Cotton Ball Bunnies

Do your kids like to craft? My girls will ask to create something. They love trips to the craft store and really enjoy an activity we can all do together. Making cotton ball bunnies was really fun for all of us!

This project is perfect for group activities since the supplies are so affordable and easy to access. Making this awesome for school, day care, camp, playdates or just a craft night at home.

We already had everything on hand to make these guys, but if you’re missing something, all supplies are cheap and easy to find. And I’ve included a free printable to make that part easy peasy.

Cotton balls pipe cleaners pink card stock yellow card stock white school glue and googly eyes

SUPPLIES

  • Craft paper
  • Cotton balls
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Googly eyes
  • School glue

DIRECTIONS

1. Print out your free printable above. It’s best to print on a piece of card stock so you can use it as a stencil. And cut out your bunny.

2. Trace the new stencil onto your paper. Card stock or construction paper works.

3. Take your glue and trace out where you want to place the cotton balls. And place the cotton down onto the glue.

4. Once your cotton balls have made your bunny shape. Grab the pipe cleaners and twist up a nose. Cut little strips if you want whiskers and glue in place.

5. Give your bunny google eyes and let dry!

Once these were dry, we added our names and the year. Added double sided tape on them and taped them to the refrigerator, for handmade Easter decor!
